i love my notebook…

after i passed past a certain test and got certified, my husband gave me one of the things in my checklist, a notebook.  although Iive been eyeing one of hp notebooks, what he gave to me fits in to the specs that i wanted. 

since i’m into blogging, i bring my laptop everywhere.  even with our out of town trips, i upload the pictures that i’ve taken right away.  sometime’s i am wishing that my hubby will give me two portable printers.  i need two because, i need one for the pictures, some sort of a photo printer and one for just printing a regular document.

we just came back from a trip in tagaytay.  here in the philippines, not all have wifi spots.  so i have to go to starbucks and buy a card for to use their wifi.  and a lot of people are there with their notebooks.

i just realized that a lot of people are dependent on technology.  i admit that i don’t think i can live with my laptop.  i check my emails after I got up, then somewhere in the middle of the day, then before i go to sleep.  i sometimes neglect my hubby because of it.

well…still…for me it’s just hard to live without it…

credit card advise…

i know that everybody (almost) have credit cards.  if i haven’t cancelled my credit cards, i might be using four now and might die of credits.  having a credit card is not bad,  although having one must posses a lot of self discipline.  you only use your credit card with the things you need.  at least you have to know the way you spend or how many times you use it.  you also have to know the things that you’re charging with it.  there are some free credit report that would help you in managing your credit card.

 

also, if you’re like me that have several cards,  my advise is you have to compare credit cards. look for the interest rates of different cards, and just try to use one.  there was a time that my salary and my husband’s ends up in paying credit card bills.  what i did is one by one, i eliminated my cards ( he also have credit cards).  although, we didn’t stop using it,  we were able to lessen our expenses.

 

i know that a lot of people are now dependent in credit cards. again for me, i’m not against it.  just be careful in using it.  there are free credit reports out there.  if you’re having problem in managing your debts, please try one.

do you guys know the then tv show ally mcbeal?!!!

 

the creator of  that show, david Kelly is such a genius.  he had another show, the practice that is also a courtroom drama.  ally mcbeal however, is a romantic comedy type…i just fell in love with that show.

 

i watched it because of ally’s outlook in life…her aspirations…her view in love.  she was a successful lawyer but she is looking for something…love.

 

she had a longtime boyfriend, billy allen thomas,  her childhood sweetheart that left her to pursue a law career in michigan.  eventually, they saw each other when ally got hired by cage and fish law firm and billy is one of their associates.  unfortunately, he got married and ally have to deal with it, and also deal with their unresolved feelings.  it is clear that they still loved each other…it’s just that they can’t be together.  how sad isn’t it?!!!

 

i got excited after billy got divorced. I thought they will be back together…but though luck…billy died.  i cried my eyes out on that episode…it’s entitled…the boy next door.

 

there is a line that I will never forget… it’s stronger than death. that even if billy is dead, he told ally (he might be a ghost or just hallucinating) that  he will continue to love her…it’s stronger than death.

 

their love is so profound…it’s just sad that they weren’t able to grow old with each other.

 

my hubby and i…we’re having problems here and there…but we come out of it stronger than ever…

 

though sometimes, I wonder what it will be like to have ally’s life.  to be successful .  i sometimes wonder that i will have some chicago legal jobs and be independent…

 

but still, i won’t have it the other way…the most comfortable place for me is…right by my husband.

lindsay lohan gets guidlines for adapting from angelina jolie and madonna…

after announcing her desire to adopt a child during an interview in the November isse of british marie claire, lindsay lohan have plans to in providing a better life to a needy child.

the 22-year-old actress, a recovering addict, has been in touch both with nagelina jolie’s and madonna’s camps for information regarding foreign adoptions.

according to the chicago sun-times, madonna personally called lilo back to “discuss her experience adopting in malawi.”

i’m a bit worried about this.  although her intentions are good, is she ready for this kind of obligation?!!! did her body undergone drug detox?  although she’s been into an alcohol rehab and drug rehab, there are still some lapses after the program.  she is still caught drinking after the program.

and what about her lover samantha ronson? aside from providing monetary support, she have to take care of the child.  she can’t even take care of herself.  i hope that if she goes through this, dina lohan won’t end up taking care of the child then coming up again with some reality show.

but hey, if angelina jolie can do it, she probably is capable too.  angelina seems to be more wilder than lindsay lohan and look at how saintly she is.

so who knows…
