my life…

here are some of the places where I want to go…

first is canada.  i’ve been longing to go there for several years.  main reason is to  see my brother and sister.  also, i think it has a fantastic scenery.   two years to go…Iive been saving so that I can attend our family reunion.

then there is united states. mainly because i wanna go to places that I’ve seen in movies and tv shows. i also have a sister that lives in lubbock texas.  though it is not much of a tourist spot, my sister says that the people there are very friendly.

i like to go to canada and united states mainly because i want to visit my family.  but the first place that i want to go if I want to travel will be the united kingdom.

united kingdom is known for its history.  not only that it is rich in culture and scenery and i heard people are hospitable too.  i wonder if i can go there someday.  maybe if I won the lottery (not that I’m buying tickets).

uk’s culture have their own preserved and distinctive heritage, customs and symbolism.

and the scenery…here are the some of the places in london that i want to visit…

-          st. paul’s church

-          westminster abbey

-          british museum

-          victoria & albert

-          natural history

-          buckingham palace

-          kennsington palace

-          hyde park

-          kennsington palace gardens

and i want to shop in portobello road (a flea market). or harrod’s: knightsbridge though it is closed on sundays. oxford street: hyde park corner to oxford circus, regent street: oxford circus, covent garden will also do…

i also want to ride the famous double decker bus ride.

i also wanna go to concerts.  i found a cool site called viagogo. You can get concert and sports tickets on that site. so if wonder where you can get steve coogan tickets online, that’s the site to check.  Iim more or an mushy and upbeat songs so i want to get some stevie wonder tickets.  i just watched ally mcbeal and  tina turner was a guest. i may checkout some tina turner tickets.

so far, I’ve never been out of the philippines.  heck, i haven’t even explored it yet. 

my hubby and i should start saving now.  who knows, we may be able to go there after ten years (finger crossed).

the source told OK magazine that she would most likely start with a line geared towards women, and would eventually try a children’s line.

i think she should start with a lingerie line and wear a panty…

sometimes i find blogging difficult.  not only do i  have to manage my time, since i am managing two blogs, but to write your posts in english is kind of hard for me.

i’m a filipino, english is not my native language.  so you have to spare me if you see some grammatical and spelling error every now and then.

i’m bad in constructing sentences.  talk about essays. though english subject is not my waterloo, i hated essays.  my classmates and I used to compare and contrast essay. there was one time back in college wherein we were asked to write an essay (i forgot the title) then my english professor will pick a representative in our class to join the university essay writing contest.  my good friend ivy wrote like a 100 word essay and she got picked.  she is like a whiz in writing.

and don’t get me started with research papers. i’m shameful to admit it but I sometimes just copy the content of the book. with a little paraphrasing (lol). luckily, my mom is also good in english.  she helps me edit my research (re-search).

sometimes i wonder if there is a site where you can just buy essay.  like give them the title then boom, there goes your essay.  i think there are lot of sites like that this days, so people like me can get help.

only 19 gursts attended the wedding. singer joshua radin was on hand to provide the music.

michael phelps won his eighth gold medal at the beijing olympics. 

he beated mark spitz for the most golds in a single games.

the victorious us 4×100-meter medley athelete, phelps, sason lezak, aaron peirsol and brendan hansen won in a world-record of three minutes 29.34 seconds last Sunday beating the old mark of 3:30.68 that was set four years ago in athens.

the american athletes swept the men’s relays in beijing, with phelps leading off in the 400 and 800 freestyle relays.

i miss my family…

i’m the only left here in the philippines and my dad. i have a brother and sister in canada, one in us.  my mom is also at canada right now in vacation. 

my sister in states recently went to canada for a visit.  they are one big family over there in canada, it sucks that my dad can’t go because of health reasons and i can’t due to money matters.

they just sent me a picture…i’m green with envy!!!

my mom said that they are planning to do it again after a year or two.  luckily, i got my sister and brother to save for my fare.

i’m not sure if the family reunion will be in canada or us.  since they just did it in canada, the next one will probably in us.  i’m already looking on some vacation rentals.

my sister is based in lubbock texas.  i think there aren’t any good spots there to check.  i’m currently checking on a hawaii vacation rentals, since i love going to beach.  i’m also checking some florida vacation rentals because i’m sure my niece and my nephews would like to see the universal studios.

i can’t wait…
