i know that a lot of people are having problems with their credit. although the use of credit card is not widely used here in the philippines, in other rich countries like united states and canada, have a good credit history is very important.
my sister tells me that in order for you to purchase a house in canada you will need either cash (of course) or at least have a good credit standing. in canada, most of people use credit cards in purchasing expensive things or even with just groceries. It’s not that they don’t have any cash, it’s just that the more you use your credit card, the more you will be granted of a higher credit limit. and with high credit limit, you can buy a house or a car with just giving down payment.
and one of the things that would qualify you in owning a house or a car is being a good payer. they will run a credit report or background of some sort. if they see that there is no inconsistency on how you pay, more likely they will approve your application. so for some people who wants to buy a house or own any property, there are lot of free credit report sites out there. before you apply, try to check first if you have a good credit standing.
but there are it’s cons or pros in using credit card. a lot of people are having problems with other people using their credit card and that they have to pay for it. it is called identity theft. even though you can file a complaint if this happens to you and have you’re a credit repair. It’s like a robbery without you knowing it. people will use you in getting the luxuries that they want. so be careful in using your credit cards, be keen to notice people around you. a paper shredder is also important. once you received your monthly bill, don’t forget to shred the statement just to be safe.

michelle williams doesn’t need to file any claims for heath ledger’s property. heath’s family gave everything to matilda rose, heath and michelle williams daughter. heath’s property is estimated to be around 20 million dollars.
ever penny of heath ledger’s estimated $20 million will go to his little girl matilda rose, ledger’s father says. in his will, which has been probated behind closed doors at the supreme court in perth, ledger left everything to his parents and three sisters. many observers expected his former partner michelle williams to lodge a claim on the will, which was signed by the actor on april 12, 2003, two years before matilda was born.
the will left half of the estate to ledger’s sisters, kate and olivia ledger and ashleigh bell. the remainder was to go to his parents, kim ledger and sally bell, after debts had been paid. but ledger’s father, kim, says there will be no challenge and the family has given everything to matilda. “there is no claim,” mr. ledger said. “our family has gifted everything to matilda.”
some estimates have put the value of the heath ledger estate at up to $20 million. but adelaide accountant mark dyson, who is an executor of the estate, said he could not reveal what matilda would inherit. the will, filed at the manhattan equivalent of australia’s family court after ledger died in new york on january 22 from a cocktail of prescription drugs, puts the bulk of his assets into a trust.

do you guys have the same problem as i am?!!! english is not my native language…though here in the philippines it is our second language, still, i find it difficult to sometimes speak english fluently or write in english.
since english is our second language, we have english subjects from grade school till college. one of the things i hate (still hate) is essay writing. i am not good in writing, let alone writing it in english. i find it difficult to compose my thoughts and how to construct a sentence that has no grammatical error. some of my teachers (former) gives custom essay and i just wanna drop the subject and get out…which of course i didn’t do because my parents will kill me…though somehow I was able to overcome it.
on the other hand, my mother is very good in writing in english. she doesn’t seem to problem in expressing her thoughts. She was a college professor and one time she was assigned to take the minutes of the meeting by the dean of their department. after she handed the minutes, the dean complimented what she did and said that it was his first time to get that kind of memo.
i am very much thankful for my mother in giving me support with my english difficulty. she gives me advice in custom writing, pointing out the subject-verb agreement and stuff. although i still have lapses (as you can see) I can somehow express myself a better compared before. she told me that the key is to read and read…

there are lot of insurance nowadays and it seems that everybody are getting insured. who would blame them?!!! no one knows when an accident will come. it is better to be prepared than having to deal with the loss and have to pay for it.
here in the philippines, insurance is not that rampant. people just get a life, health, or memorial insurance. some get auto insurance for their cars. with gasses going up nowadays, i think it will be hard on people to pay for the damages if an accident comes. if you’re at fault, not only will you pay the damages of your own vehicle, but you also have to pay for the other party, also, if the person needs medical assistance, you will also shoulder that expense. it is wise to get car insurance to have your self at least not worry financially.
here in the philippines, not everyone are required to have an insurance unlike other countries like us or canada. here it is more of an option if you want to avail one. the people here just usually pray that nothing happens to their house or car.
i have a sister in us and canada that sometimes find it not practical to pay insurances. i can’t blame them because almost everything is insured. though it also has its advantages. my sister doesn’t worry about medical expenses whenever she get sick. at least they have peace of mind when it comes to that matter.
i have a friend in california that just purchased a new bmw and of course with it comes a california car insurance. she’s an accountant so i guess that’s a no biggie to pay for it. at least she don’t have to worry about anything when something happens.
me? we have a car with no insurance…i guess just the insurance mandated by the government. So far i’m always praying when i’m out of the road. i guess a prayer is my insurance…
