american idol winner david cook will perform the star-spangled banner when the lakers and celtics battle for the nba championship during game three of the nba finals.

it will be held at staples center in los angeles next tuesday night.

i wonder if kimberly caldwell will be there…

the american idol winner and former idol finalist seemed to be going strong.  the two are spotted at a dodgers game on Tuesday night.  kimberly sang the national anthem.

 

an e! news source said of david cook and kimberly caldwell: “they were all cute and cuddly. they definitely looked like couple. but they were acting like they wanted to keep it low key.”

17 year old american idol alum, david archuleta just signed a record deal with jive records, same company that american idol winner, david cook signed to last week.

 

“signing a record contract with 19 recordings/jive records is truly a dream come true,” david said in a statement thursday. “i’m really excited to start working on everything.”

dannii minogue to be an american idol judge?!!!…

is it true that american idol producers are trying to get dannii minogue to be a judge in season eight of american idol?

 

the producers are alarmed by the decline of viewers during its seventh season.  the younger sister of kylie minogue will join simon cowell, paula abdul and randy jackson on a revamped idol judging panel.

 

a tabloid source says, “when ratings dropped simon was asked what would help and the first thing he said was ‘dannii minogue’”…

 

i’ll still watch american idol next year with or without dannii…

american idol winner david cook reportedly set a us record when 11 of his songs debuted on the billboard’s hot 100.

 

however, his song  “the time of my life”, debuted on the #3 position.  but it will take the winning position on the hot digital songs list…

david archuleta did his best (although still boring for me). His voice, performance is perfect…flawless…

 

david cook did not bring everything with him last night. His songs are just safe…even I have to agree…that it won’t be enough to be an American idol…

 

i wonder if david cook still have any chance in winning american idol…

 

i’m still a david cook fan though…i still think that he’ll be a phenomenal recording artist. i also think that he’ll outsell david arculeta…with or without american idol…

i think america got it right…

 

i liked david archuleta at first.  he has a good voice and he moves people when he’s singing.  i will never forget his rendition of imagine by the beatles.  now, i’m bored to death.  it’s always the same.  it’s good but i’m not moved by his songs anymore.  something is lacking.  and as simon said “he doesn’t have a personality”.

 

i’m not such a huge fan of david cook  at first but he keeps on impressing me every week and now i’m rooting for him to win.  i can’t take his version of always be my baby, billie jeans, hello…to many to mention.  he takes risks and it works for him.  as simon said “he’s done enough to win the competition”.

 

i hope simon is right…

now that ramiele malubay and michael johns are out…my bet now to win american idol is david cook.  i think that he’s a really good singer and will be a platinum recording  artist even without winning american idol.  i see chris daughtry in him, though i think  david is better.

i wasn’t surprised that carly got booted off…though i think brooke and jason should’ve gone first.  it’s a popularity contest, and brooke and jason both have huge fanbase.  carly’s performance is good. i even enjoyed her performance and till now, i can’t take off the song jesus christ superstar out of my head. maybe her fans thought that she will be safe and did not do their best to vote. 

anyway…i think the final two will be david cook and david archuleta. but who knows…there might be another shocking elimination.  i will continue to watch idol as  long as david cook is in it.
